Extension

Universidade Metodista de São Paulo Extension combines theory, practice, technique and citizenship, integrating individuals and their community. Students put theory into practice by engaging in hands-on activities with the community. Through more than 50 social projects, students develop their critical awareness and take actions that generate meaningful transformations in the community. Extension projects and activities include community actions, cultural and artistic interventions taking place in the areas of Communications, Education, Sports, Environment, Health, Management and Culture.

The community is directly served not only by extension projects, but also by health services offered by the Polyclinics, treating patients holistically by means of integrated attendance among the fields of Dentistry, Nutrition, Physiotherapy, Psychology and Clinical Laboratory in just one place. Still in the health area, the School Drugstore carries out research and produces liquid soap used throughout the University.

In addition, the Veterinary Hospital provides dogs, cats, birds, horses, cows, sheep, pigs and other animals with the necessary care. From the third year on, Law School students ensure legal representation for needy people through the Community Legal Center.
