Undergraduate Programs
The undergraduate courses are distinguished by the quality of the faculty members, who, through sound pedagogical practices allow students to get in touch with the real world and to develop a sense of citizenship. Our facilities, such as clinics, agencies and laboratories, are equipped with the most modern and state of the art technology, giving students the opportunity to develop new skills and to receive excellent education in their areas of interest, combining knowledge and commitment to the community.
As far as Teaching is concerned, the University based on its Institutional Pedagogical Project (IPP), seeks to take differentiated pedagogical actions. At Universidade Metodista de São Paulo, this happens from the moment the student enters the University through module-based courses. This allows the integration of diverse topics, varied and complex subjects, seminars, several types of projects learning programs, supplementary activities, internships, scientific investigations, among others. Considering all these actions from an interdisciplinary point of view, students can develop the skills and competencies needed to succeed in tomorrow’s workplace.
In response to an ever-growing demand for distance learning in recent years, distance undergraduate courses are also offered. In our support centers, students from other parts of Brazil can log in to video classes at a scheduled time weekly, and attend on-site classes in special multimedia classrooms. Apart from the available basic references for each course, distance education students also receive didactic material especially designed by Universidade Metodista de São Paulo.
