The article is based on the notion of the ethical individual as “an autonomy achieved through alterity”. It describes the involvement in a “weft of interpellation and answer “ as constitutive part of the ethical individual, “between the unity of a world and the plurality of the several cultural worlds”. An ethical individual” includes, in the weft of interpellation and answer, the biblical narrative that establishes a critical dialog with the worlds around. His “experience finds its fullest and most ethically meaningful expression as an ecclesial ethical individual”.
