There is a very thin line between training hard and seeing results, Trouble Spot Training Review and training hard and getting injured. In order to stimulate muscle growth a certain degree of intensity must be applied to your training. You can lift heavy and produce the results that you desire and still be safe. Let us check out some common causes of injury. If you are a careless weight trainer then injury is always right around the corner. Cutting corners just to lift a weight that you are not able to fully control is the # 1 reason get themselves hurt in the gym. If you have to jerk or really heave the weight that you are lifting then it is too heavy. You should be able to control the movement and feel the muscle work for the entire exercise. Yanking a heavy weight will just result in muscle strains, pulls, or worse. So do not let your ego do the lifting.
