Did you know that estimates BioLeptin show that the average woman will spend her life gaining and losing around 350 pounds as she tries to achieve her weight goals? The average woman will lose around 150 pounds in her lifetime but will also gain around 200 pounds in return?It's not really surprising then that this "average woman" will tell you that diets just don't work. The figures simply show us that most diets don't in fact work for most people. After all if they did, people would find the one that worked, try it and never have another weight problem again.
What usually happens is this. You decide to lose weight, go on a diet, lose some pounds. Good so far, huh? But then you either get bored with the diet or you can actually start to get or feel sick if you are trying out a fad diet. So, you stop, and the weight creeps back and you feel bad about your weight all over again. Next thing you know you find a new diet to try and off you go on the merry go round of yo-yo dieting!This kind of weight loss/weight gain scenario isn't just depressing...it can actually be bad for your health. Losing a lot of weight and then piling it all back on or even adding some extra pounds simply puts your body under a lot of stress and strain. It just isn't healthy.
So, if we could find a diet that works this wouldn't be an issue, right?Fact is most diets (apart from the faddy and downright weird ones) DO work. They can help you lose weight. But, on their own, they won't help you keep the weight off forever. Let's face it, if you starved yourself for a week you'd lose weight, goes without saying, but what would happen when you started eating again? Yeah, the weight would go back on. Every diet has the same deal attached to it. That's why people think none of them work.
Diet solutions can be real useful though. You're never going to get fit and healthy without eating right. But, don't forget about other vital stuff as well. Losing weight isn't only about dieting. If you use specific weight loss or body shaping programs in tandem with dieting solutions then you could find a system that actually does help you achieve consistent weight loss.
